The only dance experience Mary had as a child was when she attended a month long, after-school ballet program that culminated with a performance of her in a giant, stuffed dinosaur suit. And, at her first swing class in college, she couldn't quite figure out which way to turn on a Swingout! She did eventually figure it out, and ever since that class has been dance crazy! To understand and explore movement, she took every dance class she could...Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Salsa and Ballroom. 

After graduating, she moved back home to Los Angeles and she attends, competes, performs, teaches and DJ's at every event she can, and then blogs about it every opportunity she gets (Art and Dancing)! Playfulness, hot rhythms, and yummy connection is what she strives to create with her lead. She loves talking about dancing, and can usually be found dance-geeking-out wherever there is someone swinging out (or figuring out how to :)
